P3 won twice at the CIJ Awards Slovakia, 2011

BRATISLAVA, SLOVAKIA | PETER BEČÁR AND POINTPARK BRATISLAVA WON CIJ AWARDS 2011 IN SLOVAKIA

PointPark Properties (P3) is ending the year with further success. On December 6th, the annual CIJ Awards gala was held at the Sheraton Hotel in Bratislava, Slovakia. Peter Bečár, P3´s Managing Director Czech Republic and Slovakia, won in the category „Industrial Leadership“ and the night became even better when PointPark Bratislava, P3 logistics and industrial park, was announced as the winner of the „Best Warehouse / Logistics Development“ category.

PointPark Bratislava is one of the most important logistics and industrial parks in P3´s European portfolio. With a total potential of more than 196,000 sq m, including 87,000 sq m for four new buildings, PointPark Bratislava is situated in a highly sought after location, attracting Slovak as well as international clients. The park offers advanced IT system, 24-hour security, full facility management and support, various storage systems and other services. The anchor tenants´ list includes for example Whirlpool, Möbelix, Dachser, IHLE, Brightpoint, HBPO with Schnellecke Slovakia the latest.

Peter Bečár joined P3 in 2007 and last September was appointed the Managing Director Czech Republic and Slovakia. During the past year he has demonstrated true leadership qualities by leading from the front. He is the kind of manager, who knows very well, that leadership is the active ability to inspire by one's own example and to ardently motivate others to achieve their greatest potential. He is able to see the potential in people of his team and create an environment where those potentials can be fully realized. This is demonstrated by the amount of sq m that Peter`s Czech and Slovak teams have secured deals on over the past year, with over 167,000 sq m involving leasing of existing space, renegotiations and new development, funded and delivered on time.
