Properties (P3) – one of the
leading international developers and asset managers of modern logistics parks
in Europe, having created a network of modern distribution
facilities with top quality services, was awarded for their achievements at the
prestigious Fleet & Logistics 2010 conference.
The organizers and the jury of the conference awarded a prize for P3´s eco-friendly attitude to development. RNDr. Ivan Zuzula, CEO of ETIAM, the warranter of the conference, gave the prize to P3.
The Fleet & Logistics conference was held in September in Bratislava on the 23rd of September 2010 and it covered both specialists´ discussions about modern trends as well as the current issues relating to transport and logistics, with a strong focus on the need for an eco-friendly attitude. The jury and the organizers awarded various companies for their positive approaches. P3, the well known asset manager and developer of the distribution facilities , was awarded by the monthly magazine “Transport and Logistics“ for its project “ Solar panels installation on the roofs of distribution parks“.
The P3 Czech distribution parks, PointPark Prague D1 and PointPark Prague D8, can boast, having solar panels installation totalling 335,000 sqm with total capacity of the photovoltaic energy (PVE) generating 8.5 MWh. The system is fully automatic, and includes on-line diagnostic verification and data transfer. The special aerodynamic construction minimising load on the roofs was patented by P3 as a part of this project. The total investment worth 600 million CZK and the generated energy capacity ranked this installation as one of the largest of its kind in Central Europe. The system will be implemented in November 2010 and P3 plans to continue with similar installations on Pointparks in Slovakia, Poland, Spain, Bulgaria and Romania.
