BUCHAREST, ROMANIA | PointPark Properties OFFICIALY OPENS IT’S NEW OFFICE IN BUCHAREST
On 27th of September 2011, PointPark Properties (P3) officially opened its new office in Bucharest. The new office is located in the city centre, near Calea Victoriei Street, on the first floor of a newly renovated villa, surrounded by Nicolae Iorga Park.
The event was carried out in the presence of 60 guests, ranging from important members of the local business community to members of the local press.
The celebration was kicked off by Ian Worboys, P3’s CEO who welcomed all guests and introduced all P3 members present from P3 offices in Prague and Warsaw, as well as briefly mentioning the most important transactions of the company throughout Europe. “We are pleased to see so many of you support this important event for our company. This year, P3 has leased a total of more than 300,000 sqm of prime logistics space. This represents an average annual growth of 67 percent. These leasing activities reflect the expansion needs of P3 existing customers, 82,000 sqm in renegotiations, 180,000 sqm in new long-term leases and 40,000 sqm in short-term rental,” said Ian Worboys. The speech was continued by the new Romanian Country Manager Stefan Gheorghiu, who presented the Romanian team and assured all participants that the new office was “open for business”. “I am confident that the opening of this new office will help us improve our first-class customer service even further as well as support P3’s growth goals in the region,” said Stefan Gheorghiu.
PointPark Properties (P3) is an established international asset manager and developer of industrial and warehouse Properties, present currently in 12 European countries. The company is wholly owned by Arcapita Bank, an international investment fund with offices in Bahrain, Atlanta, London and Singapore. To date, Arcapita finalised more than 70 transactions with a value of over 29 billion dollars and has a base equity capital of 1.1 billion dollars.
