TRNAVA-VODERADY, SLOVAKIA

PointPark Properties (P3) has announced the successful completion of a Build-To-Own project for Audia Plastics and its affiliates Washington Penn Plastic and Uniform Color Company. This warehouse and production facility is situated in Trnava-Voderady, Slovakia and comprises 17,200 sqm of warehousing space, including 1,500 sqm of offices. The project commenced in September 2010, followed by the site-acquisition, project design and implementation and then completion with receipt of the final occupancy permit in December 2011. The official handover took place on February 8, 2012. The facility will be a significant employer in the region once full operation is reached.

“During this Build-To-Own project, we committed ourselves to provide the client with professional service and assistance for the entire scheme including all elements related to acquisition of the site at Voderady, through the support in design and planning phases, to finalizing the design and undertaking complete construction management. The project is intended to fulfil specific requirements for the production of plastic materials, therefore it´s been crucial to coordinate all the works of various suppliers, such as architectural, engineering and electrical works, the installation of the client´s technology, along with its machinery and production lines. At the end, the overall quality of the project fully met the client´s expectations”, says Roman Setvák, P3 Project Manager.

“The production facility in Voderady resulted from very close cooperation between our P3 team, the Audia Plastics team and all other parties throughout all phases of the project. The last 14 months has demonstrated the capabilities of the P3 team. Our ability to lead production facility investment projects through the integration of our team´s experience and managerial systems with the structures and personnel of our client was critical for this project. We are very happy that the new production facility meets all the expectation of Audia Plastics”, says Peter Bečár, Managing Director P3 Czech Republic and Slovakia.
